If you would remember, at the end of last month a small group of T-Mobile customers are experiencing massive battery loss. This case happens specifically to T-Mobile G2 owners. While still working hard in solving the matter, T-Mobile also ask for more information from users out there who are experiencing the same thing, basically a feedback about when, what and how it all happened. Well hopefully the more information they gained the faster they get in solving this case. “AT&T and T-Mobile’s merger” support from Republican Senators

Another extent of AT&T and T-Mobile’s merger approval is given from two Republican senators; Mike Lee from Utah and John Coryn from Texas. The two senators have written a letter to regulators, Federal Communications Commision (FCC) and the Department of Justice, pushing them to approve the potential deal.

Both Senators Mike Lee and John Cornyn are two of three Republicans on the United States Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Policy and Consumer Rights. The letter urges the regulators to focus on the possible benefits the merger may provide, one of them is the faster next generation of 4G network.
“The testimony and materials presented to the Antitrust Subcommittee highlight potential benefits to consumers that deserve meaningful attention,” they said in their letter.

According to them, Lawmakers can only serve to sway public opinion on the merger, whereas the FCC and DoJ have the power to approve it to block it outright.

Something exciting has come up; a leaked sighting of the Samsung Hercules, the device we all has been waiting for. When you look at it closely, the image showed a similar view of the Samsung Galaxy S 2, the basic model for Hercules. But according to the guys at MobileSyrup who got their hands on the image from a tipster that came into the Samsung Mobile Concert in Canada last night, the phone has a 4.5″ screen. It is rumored that in Canada this will be the first 42 Mbps smartphone, which will be the same for the States as well.
